Recognizing that a strong curriculum is an essential component of a quality educational program, the Chandler Unified School District has made curriculum development a high priority. Teachers work with district administrators to align district curriculum with state standards and sequence objectives appropriately for the grade levels they teach.
District assessments are given to assess students' mastery of curriculum. These tests are scored electronically and a variety of reports on student mastery are available to assist instructional staff to analyze student achievement, to evaluate instructional effectiveness and to monitor school achievement.
