I have always had a passion for working with children, not only because I enjoy their unique perspective, but also because they are filled with wonder, energy, and a contagious love of life. Both with my own children and those that I work with every day, I am proud to know that I have contributed, in some small way, in assisting them to become happy and productive members of society. I strive to empower children, encouraging their love of learning and their unique interests while providing them with a safe and positive environment where they are free to explore and learn.
I strongly believe that children have the ability to become more successful as they gain self-confidence and self-awareness about the important role they play in the big world that surrounds them every day. I recognize the vital role that family, school, and community play in helping children to develop both socially and academically. I am privileged, not only to work within CUSD, but to do my part in guiding children toward their goals and helping them to succeed.
