"Seniors Saying Thank You"

Our 2010 “Seniors Saying Thank You” program distributed over 1,500 letters to CUSD teachers recognizing them for the tremendous influence and impact they had on their students. With help from Hamilton High freshman Maddi Lynch and Lauren Schenk, CEF was able to distribute recognition letters to teachers at Basha High School, Chandler High School, Hamilton High School, and Perry High School during Teacher Appreciation Week.

The Seniors Saying Thank You program was started in the 2002/2003 school year by a 2003 Hamilton High School graduate. The program was designed to give CUSD seniors the opportunity to recognize and thank the teacher who had the greatest influence on them during their time at school. Forms are passed out to all seniors who then write a personal thank you note to their favorite teacher. Completed forms are screened and then delivered to the respective teacher through CUSD mail during Teacher Appreciation Week. The Chandler Education Foundation is excited to see the program continue. A special thanks to Maddi and Lauren for committing to manage this worthwhile program for the next 3 years.
