Principal's Message

School Books
Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Rudy G. Bologna Elementary school. This website is designed to be of assistance to families currently attending RGB, as well as those who may be looking for a new home school.

Since our opening day we have worked diligently to create a learning environment that meets the varied needs of our students. We pride ourselves on being a safe and secure site for children and adults. You will find RGB staff to be friendly and helpful. We have many veteran instructors who bring a wide range of skills to the school community.

Bologna is a multi-cultural school. We have families from all ethnic and socio-economic levels. This wonderful diversity is part of the appeal and strength of the RGB community. RGB is home to programs for handicapped and special needs children. Our belief is that children who attend this school are given the opportunity to develop an appreciation for the rainbow of diversity in our world.

Our instructional program is built on state standards in content areas. Enrichment through the arts is a regular part of the RGB experience. Our goal is to give children the solid basic skills needed to succeed while still attending to the developmental and enrichment needs of the whole child. Two very important programs that we are presently implementing into our school culture are the teaching methods of Harry Wong and "Tribes" communities.

If you are looking for a home school and would like more information, the Arizona State Department of Education Bologna Report Card will provide you with additional information about our school. Here you will find information on test scores as well as other school programs. If you do not find what you need, please feel free to call the school office for assistance.

Enjoy your visit and remember...the pride you see is RGB! Email me if you have any questions, comments or concerns about any of our school programs.

Sincerely,

James R. Estes, Principal
